Music Box SA began in a season where life felt uncertain. Then I heard the gentle melody of a little music box, and found hope again. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something so small could hold something so big: love, memory, comfort & joy.
Today, from my Cape Town studio, we handcraft keepsake music boxes with one clear intention: to help you manifest joy... for the giver, the receiver, and the maker.

These are not “just gifts.” They’re memory-keepers.
A wedding song you never want to forget.
A message you wish you could say out loud.
A happy thought you can return to, whenever you need it.

What makes Music Box SA different

Made to order, never mass produced.  There’s no warehouse and no shortcuts. Each box is crafted for one story: yours.

Handcrafted in Cape Town.  Every piece is cut, finished, and checked by hand, with care.

Premium South African wood.  I work with rich Kiaat and soft whitewashed Pine, chosen for their beauty, durability, and the way they age over time.

A deeply personal process.  You’re not just placing an order. You’re co-creating a memory-keeper with me.

What to expect when you order

  1. You choose your box details and send your selections through.
  2. I reply on WhatsApp with your first design proof (and digital tune options, if needed).
  3. We refine it together until it feels just right.
  4. I only engrave once you reply: “Design approved.”
  5. Payment is confirmed (EFT invoice or a secure Shopify checkout link).

A few gentle notes

  • Delivery is included on keepsake music boxes within South Africa.
  • If a remote-area surcharge applies, I’ll confirm it with you before you pay.
  • If you’re unsure about the tune, the engraving, or what to write - tell me who the box is for and what the occasion is. I’ll help you choose the words (and the music).
